Hello! My name is Tuan, your new school representative. This is my first year learning at Phenikaa school, I mean, all of us. I am honored to be chosen and committed to delivering my best to help our school competting with others.
I know full well that actions will speak louder than words, but I already have a plan for our school’s future. First, rules are rules, but I will amend them to be more flexible and suitable for everyone. Especially in this moment, whilst Covid 19 is ruining our lives and we have to change a lot in the way we learn and live. You would be mistaken to think that my resolve is not strong enough, as I will implement and organize many activities to carry out my vision and promise.
Even though the pandemic is detrimentally affecting the economy and education, for me, this is a beneficial time for doing what we want. This is the time for technology to allow everyone to take part in virtual events and activities. Simultaneously, you could get merit certificate for participating. I know everyone loves competition and prizes so we will create a lot of playfields regularly. These events could take place in your class or maybe in bigger scale like the whole school, and I promise they would be fair and just.
This is the beginning and I still have lots of thought I want to share with everyone but I’d rather keeping it a secret, for that would be more surprising and exciting. I was an introverted and sedentary person and I hated having to present on the stage because I had stage-fright. But this year, I set my heart on being purposeful and striving to be the best, so I will listen to you all, Pheniker! Don’t be shy, you can share with me anything you want, or thing that make you feel uncomfortable, we can keep it secret between us! Am I trustworthy? I’d prove myself through discretion as an introvert
One more thing I’d like to tell you is: “I want to share my seat here as the captain of the student council with another student next year because I know some of you would do it better than I can, so always try your best. Someday, your effort would be recognized. Thanks for listening!
