With the goal to create an excellent generation of Viet Nam’s youth, Phenikaa School has designed and integrated a 21st Century Skills Course into the main curriculum (2 classes/week) so as to gear students towards the skills for global integration while also focusing on moral and humanity education. The program consists of two main components: Education of skills and Education of merits.
The school’s skill-development program is not limited to a weekly 2-class schedule, but also with the access to the STEM educational system – learning through cross-cutting projects and subjects, students will develop 21st century skills in innovation, collaboration, presentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
In order to incorporate moral and skill-set lessons into everyday life, Phenikaa School prioritizes creating a cultural and practical environment where the entire faculty and staff take actions together with students, through the teaching method called “leading by example”. Senior students become mentors to their juniors, thereby creating an environment that features mutual training, collaboration, respect, and continuous learning.
Furthermore, within the program, students will be able to experience cultural and artistic activities, conduct exchanges with social organizations, agencies, etc., in order to better understand themselves and those around them.
